Japanese Government Scholarships for International Undergraduate Students

Brief description: The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT)offers scholarships to international students who wish to study at Japanese universities as undergraduate students under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program for 2020.

Host Institution(s): Universities in Japan

Fields of study: Those who wish to study in Japan as an undergraduate student must choose a field of major from two major fields: (1) Social Sciences and Humanities and (2) Natural Sciences.

Target group: Nationals of countries which has diplomatic relations with the Japanese government.

Bocconi Merit and International Awards

Brief description: Merit Awards and Bocconi International Awards will be made available for first year Undergraduate applicants and first year Graduate applicants for the 2019-2020 academic year based on their academic standing.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration: The Merit Award includes a full tuition waiver, worth up to approximately € 12,000 per year (for Undergraduate) and  € 13,000 per year (for Graduate).  A limited number of students may also be assigned free accommodation in one of the Bocconi Residences.
The Bocconi International Award consists of a 50% tuition reduction for both Undergraduate and Graduate level.
